Andrew Trakszelis joined North Shore Trust and Savings in 2023 as Vice President of Mortgage Operations, bringing extensive financial expertise and a problem-solving approach to his role. With a BA in Finance from DePaul University, Andrew focuses on deeply understanding challenges and actively listening to both staff and customers to find effective solutions. He emphasizes addressing both expressed and unspoken needs to improve processes and customer experiences. What Andrew values most about his career is helping people and ensuring meaningful improvements within the organization.

Beyond his professional life, Andrew has always been actively engaged in his community. He and his wife spent many years at soccer fields, baseball fields, and hockey rinks, not only cheering on their children but also contributing to various youth programs. Although his children are now grown, he looks back on those experiences fondly and continues to stay connected with the community.

In his free time, Andrew is an avid golfer and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, often at live music events. A lesser-known fact about Andrew is his love for cooking. Despite his wife being an exceptional cook, he takes pleasure in preparing meals for family.
